What pushed me into music- Oscar

The new kid on the block, Odiboh Edoise Oscar, a.k.a Oscar has proved beyond doubt that he has what it takes to rule the Nigerian music scene.
The final year student of Theatre Arts, University of Benin, who first started as an actor before he delved into script writing and now, music has opened up on why he went into music.
According to him, “I have always loved sounds,instruments and the combination of sounds to make good music. Before I went into music, I was involved in acting and script writing. I have written many scripts before now. After much prayers, I decided to try my hands in other things. I like music. It was after I dropped one of my tracks “Jeje” in 2013, that people started recognizing me.” Describing himself as “a socially conscious afro-pop musician music’, Oscar says, he does all kinds of music including Afro- beat, highlife among others.

According to the Edo state born afro-pop singer, “Aside music, I’m an actor and a script-writer. I am blessed to have been involved in different productions including, “Man talk,woman talk”, “The God’s Are Not To Blame”, among others. I’ll be making my debut in an upcoming television series.”
