36Naija confirms that 7 travelers from Offa, Kwara state, who were abducted by kidnappers along the Kaduna-Abuja road last week, have been rescued by the Nigerian army officers.
They abducted persons regained their freedom around 4:30 am on Wednesday when the Nigerian army troops moved into the forest where they had been kept.
The kidnapped persons include 6 adults and a seven-year-old girl who has now regained their freedom and have now been welcomed at the Kaduna state government house.
The Army said that there was no ransom was paid for their release. They also advised Nigerians against travelling at night.
