The Senior Pastor and founder of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, COZA, Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, has responded to the court summon filed by Timi Dakolo’s wife, Busola Dakolo, over rape allegations.
On Monday, the Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday had summoned Pastor Fatoyinbo and Mrs Dakolo to appear before it within 14 days.
Busola told the Court that the rape had caused her emotional trauma and adversely affected her marital sex life. Furthermore, she demanded a letter of apology from Pastor Fatoyinbo to show remorse.
In a suit filed by her lawyer, Pelumi Olajengbesi and Co of Law corridor, Mrs Dakolo demanded that Pastor Fatoyinboshould tender a public apology on 2 national newspapers and a national television station for 7 consecutive days and pay N10m for the total cost of damages in relation to the suit.
However, Pastor Fatoyinbo said that he is yet to receive any court document. He also urged Busola Dakolo to stop lying over the alleged rape allegation levelled against him.
Fatoyinbo wrote on his Instagram handle;
“We have heard the latest report. We have not received any court document and if we do, we would respond accordingly because we have utmost respect for the law
“I normally would not respond to news. But will do so ONLY THIS TIME. Allow me to respond in Pidgin English. “ stop lying up an dan “
