Former Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger believes that Mohamed Salah shares similar abilities with Lionel Messi according to 36Naija.

The former Arsenal and Monaco manager likened Salah to Messi but believes the Egyptian attacker must become more consistent with his finishing.

Wenger believes Salah is “too obsessed” with scoring goals but he has backed him to make corrections after a moment when Salah wasted a chance to pass to an unmarked Sadio Mane during the 2nd of Liverpool’s 3-0 win over Burnley in the English Premier League.

“He [Salah] has similarities with Messi,” Wenger told beIN Sports.

“He must find the consistency of Messi.

“I find he’s a good finisher but Messi has the complete thing, he gives the final ball as well.
