It was all crisis on Wednesday, September 4th 2019 when the members of the Nigerian Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) staged a protest and rejected the choice of popular Oshodi union member, Musiliu Akinsanya (MC Oluomo) as the caretaker chairman.
There was tension in the NURTW unit in Lagos as members of the union marched out in their numbers to stage at the Lagos State Secretariat in Alausa area of Lagos State.
The protest came as a result of the decision of the national headquarters of the union to dissolve the state council, and appointing popular Oshodi union member, Musiliu Akinsanya popularly known as MC Oluomo as the caretaker chairman.
