Popular Nigerian music star, Folarin Falana, popularly known by his stage name as Falz has called on Nigerians to stop its retaliatory attacks on South African business in Nigeria.

The rapper also called on the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo to provide a lasting solution to the xenophobic attacks on Nigerians residing in South Africa.

Falz said this when reacting to a statement made by Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, who took to his Twitter page to condemn the xenophobic attacks on Nigerians and other African nationals in South Africa.

But, Falz responding to Osinbajo’s comment on Twitter by asking him to reveal the actions being taken by the Nigerian government in response to the xenophobic attacks.

He wrote:

“We all know what it is, What is being done about it?

The rapper further called on Nigerians to stop violent attacks on businesses in Nigeria.

According to him, violence is not the answer to the problem but rather, it heightens the problem.

“This a very difficult time for everyone but violence is never the answer.

“Attacking people or vandalizing businesses in Nigeria will not solve the problem, but will rather make things worse.

“We are hurting our own selves! Please,” Falz added.
