Fola Tinubu, the Managing Director of Primero Transport Services Limited, has reacted to the accident that occurred between a BRT bus and a Dangote truck on Tuesday.
The Managing Director said the driver who died in the fatal accident was not to be blamed for the incident.
Tinubu, who spoke to NAN in Lagos on Wednesday, stated that there was nothing the driver could have done to avoid the accident.
36naija.com recalls that no fewer than three people were killed in the accident which occurred between a Dangote truck and BRT bus at Majidun area of Ikorodu, Lagos after a truck crushed an oncoming BRT bus with registration number LSR228XS.
“The Dangote bus jumped up the caveat into the BRT lane and hit our bus headlong.”
”There was nothing the bus driver could have done.”
“Unfortunately, we lost the bus driver, one other staff of ours and a lady passenger.”
“We are believing that all the injured will fully recover. The medical people are doing their best, for now, we have to keep praying for them,” he said.
The Managing Director of Primero Transport Services Limited urged Lagos residents not to relent in prayers for the injured, assuring that the medical personnel were also not relenting to save their lives.
