According to 36Naija sports, Turkish club, Kayserispor have confirmed the signing of former Arsenal striker, Emmanuel Adebayor on a one-year contract on Monday.
The former Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Real Madrid striker, departed Istanbul Basaksehir at the end of the previous season by mutual consent.
The Togo icon who was keen on searching for a new challenge has been snapped up by the Anatolian Star for the next one year.
The club wished Adebayor well as they hope that both the player and the club will benefit from Adebayor’s time at the club.
The 35-year-old striker is has played for many football clubs in the long course of his career. He has featured for Spanish giants, Real Madrid and Premier League clubs like Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City, and Crystal Palace.
Hia latest club is Kayserispor, who Turkish champions, Galatasaray in game week 3 of the new campaign. Kayserispor is yet to find their first win of the season campaign and would be hoping for Adebayor to regain fitness in time for the encounter which is scheduled to hold at the Kadir Has Stadium on Friday, August 30th 2019.
