Nosa Umaigba, one of the artists in Africa who has become more conscientious about the role of his paintings, will host an exhibition of paintings tagged “Drip Season” this August.
36naija.com reports that the art exhibition will have its grand opening on Saturday, August 24 by 12 noon.
“Drip Season” which is the exhibition of paintings, will run from Saturday, August 24 to Saturday, August 31, 2019.
36naija.com understands that the exhibition will hold from 8 am to 10 pm daily excluding August 24 (Opening ceremony) which will kick off by 12 noon.
The much-anticipated exhibition will take place at RoadChef, 4B Ologun Abaje Street Off Adeola Odeku, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city.
Meanwhile, Nosa Umaigba hails from Edo State in Nigeria and graduated with a Fine Arts degree (B.A. Hons) from the University of Benin, in his home state of Edo.
Mr. Umaigba has a natural talent for expressing his ideas through visual arts, such as “Paintings by Nosa” which showcases stream of consciousness thinking, creative color exploration, and consideration, as well as sketchings.
36naija.com understands that “Paintings by Nosa” has been featured in solo and group exhibitions hosted at venues throughout Nigeria and in the UK, including his Alma Mater, University of Benin, Chevron Oil in Port Harcourt, “The Sojourner,” Getz Arena in Lagos, “Open House Art” 2012, as well as collaborations with BNG Innovates in the United Kingdom and Henry Moweta Art Galleries.
