Leicester City striker, Islam Slimani has made a transfer to French side, Monaco on a season-long loan according to 36Naija Sports.
The Algerian international joined Leicester City in 2016 from Sporting Lisbon on a 5-year deal in 2016 for a transfer fee of £29m.
Slimani, 31, had loan spells with Turkish club, Fenerbahce in Turkey and English Premier League club, Newcastle United.
Slimani made 13 goals in 46 Leicester appearances and could possibly make his debut in Monaco’s league match against Nimes in the French Ligue 1. Islam Slimani was part of the Algerian squad who won the 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt.
