Lark Voorhies is an American singer, actress and model on some good days. She was born on the 25th of March, 1974.
The 45 year old became popular in the sitcom show titled "Saved by the Bell" where she played the role of Lisa Marie Turtle.This aired from 1989-1993.
Her birth name is Lark Holloway. She was born to her parents, named Wayne Holloway and Tricia Holloway. Lark was born in Nashville, Tennessee. The name "Voorhies" was an adopted one for her career.
Stories have dropped that her mother named her Lark in respect to the character played the actress Margaret Avery. It was in the movie titled Cool Breeze that aired in 1972. When she was two years old, her family relocated to California.
Lark Voorhies is a natural entertainer, so her mother carried her to audition in an agency but things didn't go too well for the youngster as at then. When she was 12, she landed an advertising role.

Lark Voorhies Career
When she started off in the film industry, she was a bit shy. Although, she looked really great on camera. Her mother made sure that she had become comfortable with the cameras before she got back into the film industry.
When she clocked fourteen, she appeared in one episode of the 1988 show "Small Wonder". In June of that year, she got another role "Lisa Turtle" in the Disney Production, "Good Morning, Miss Bliss". She acted in a total of 13 episodes.
Disney dropped off the series sometime, and NBC decided to retool it to an extent. She was still enlisted to continue playing her role alongside some of her co actors. It was then renamed as the popular "Saved by the Bell".
From then on, Lark Voorhies got a whole lot of TV sitcom and series casting. She played the role of Wendy Reardon who was a single mom in the show titled "Days of our Lives". It aired in 1993.
In 1995, she got listed in "The Bold and the Beautiful" where she played Jasmine Malone. She was a fashion designer who was still undergoing internship. Her contract ended when she couldn't act some scenes that went against her religious beliefs.
The actress has since then acted as a guest cast in so many popular and not so popular series. Even though she has not gotten any movie credits since 2012, Lark Voorhies mentioned that she had a tight schedule.
She missed the mini reunion that happened on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon". So who knows? She might just be working on something that would blow everyone's mind off. Her colleague Dustin Diamond also wasn't at that event.
