On the eve of its big press conference, which new software is Apple Company about to debut? Nobody has a clue about it. Will it be a product related to video streaming?
Although the rumors aren’t very clear, some hints indicate that Apple is about to step into the overly crowded world of streaming videos.
On the press release on Monday Apple is supposedly about to release a video-streaming platform that will line up original shows from the likes of Reese, Oprah, Steven Spielberg, and Witherspoon. This video streaming platform is about to compete for the time and money of the viewers, with one of the biggest industries of entertainment in the world of Hollywood that are about to launch their own services in the year 2019.
DIS that is Disney’s new service in the name of Disney+ is about to release their demo on the 11th of April, this year. The Disney House in itself is having a huge world of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Disney Animation, Pixar, Disney live action and its recent attainment of the Fox studios earlier this week by investing 71 billion dollars. The Disney+ services will have an upper hand in the world of live streaming videos as it owns the controlling stake of Hulu.
Another competitor prepared for Apple in the video-streaming world is the Warner Media which is about to unveil the beta version its own streaming services. The offerings of the Warner Media Company will be broken down into three categories –an entry level that will contain only movies, the premium level will engage in providing services for all the original and blockbuster programmes. The third category will contain all the licensed programmes in its library that include –Harry Potter series along with HBO and DC superheroes. This is surely going to be a tough competition for Apple’s video-streaming software to fight.
Netflix has already been ruling over the video streaming world for quite some time now as it contains a variety of combination of the movies and series offered to its audience. Netflix seems to have established a trend in the world of streaming videos with powerful series like “The Crown”, the Oscar-winning movie –Roma and “Stranger Things” with a huge fan base.
There is a high chance for Apple to collaborate with these renowned video streaming services instead of going against them in a battle for subscribers.
